Czech and Slovak Film Festival of Australia

In 2024, Drew joined the Czech & Slovak Film Festival of Australia (CaSFFA) as a Social Media and Marketing Intern, where he quickly demonstrated a keen eye for digital engagement and creative content strategies. Drew was tasked with managing social media platforms, creating engaging posts, graphics, and video clips that built excitement around the festival's events, fostering a deeper connection with the community and attracting a wider audience. His dedication and innovative approach to social media marketing led to his transition into a more significant role in 2025, where he now serves as a Social Media Specialist and full-time committee member of the board.

As a Social Media Specialist, Drew oversees the festival's digital presence, collaborating closely with the Art Director on film curation and the wider team to ensure seamless festival execution. His work includes strategic planning and executing targeted campaigns, crafting visually engaging content, and maintaining strong online interactions with attendees and partners. Drew’s passion for promoting the Czech and Slovak film culture has allowed him to significantly contribute to the festival's growth, making him an invaluable asset to the CaSFFA team.
