Bridge of Hope Innocence Initiative (10 Year Anniversary)
Role: Video Editor & Camera Operator Intern
During his internship with the Bridge of Hope Innocence Initiative (BOHII) at RMIT University, Drew Baker played a crucial role in the production of a video that showcased the mission and impact of BOHII’s work in investigating wrongful convictions. As a Camera Operator and Video Editor Intern, Drew was responsible for both the technical and creative aspects of the video production process.
Drew's main duties included setting up and operating cameras during interviews and on-location shoots, ensuring high-quality footage was captured throughout the filming process. He collaborated closely with the production team to develop creative concepts and execute filming strategies, contributing to the overall vision and storytelling. Drew also managed the camera equipment, ensuring it was well-maintained and functioning optimally throughout the project.
In addition to his camera operation duties, Drew supported the editing team by organizing and managing recorded materials, contributing to the seamless editing process. His attention to detail and technical skills played a vital role in delivering a polished final video that effectively communicated the essential contributions of BOHII and its interns in addressing wrongful convictions. This experience highlighted Drew’s versatility in both shooting and editing, solidifying his role as a key contributor to the success of the production.
