The Westin Jakarta’s Level 1 dining lobby greeted exclusive guests, from international Ambassadors to reigning Beauty Pageant Queens, with their gold class service, signature Strawberry Delight Cocktails, and welcome canapes – Tahu Gejrot, Gohu Tuna, and Melinjo Puff – on February 3, 2023, at 18:30 onwards.
Featuring a modern twist on Indonesian cuisine, it was a truly magical evening with harmonic, live saxophone performance and enough Aqua Reflections, Mt. Batur since-source mineral water to hydrate an army.
The Westin Jakarta has teamed up with Aqua Reflections Brand Ambassador Chef Chandra Yudasswara to deliver two exciting series in– The February Chef’s Counter Experience, and the March A Curated Degustation Dinner.
The first series, feature a crafted six-course dinner by Entrepreneurial Celebrity Chef Chandra Yudasswara and The Westin Jakarta Chefs – Chef de Cuisine Chiko Fonia and Executive Pastry Chef Enggie Anggakusumah.
For IDR 1,500,000++ per person, the exclusive and luxurious Retreat Lounge experience offered exclusively indulgent experience and an up-close look at the kitchen in action.
In order, the six-course menu featured Roasted Spice Spring Chicken Salad appetizer, Pacific Lobster Spicy & Sour Broth soup, Lamb Chop Crust with Pistachio, Garlic, and Chili main, Ancient Javanese Jamu with Turmeric Jelly palette cleanser, Slow Cook Braised US prime Short Rib, Star Anise and Clover Dark Brown Gravy main, and Deconstructed Coco Pandan, Coconut Gelato, Avocado Soil dessert.
The second series, A Curated Degustation Dinner, is an all-inclusive event at the Wayra Room on Level 67 – featuring chef-made gourmet by Entrepreneurial Celebrity Chef Chandra Yudasswara, paired with Henshin Jakarta mixologist Joaquin Ortiz’s signature Nikkei beverages creations. Expect glimmering city views, live gastronomic stations, and DJ performances.
