The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, in the meandering Nusa Dua Bali coast, has undergone a complete revamp. Westin Resort ND unveiled Ikan – a contemporary island-styled, open-air, beachfront bar and restaurant, specialising in a seafood and Indonesian-inspired menu.
Ikan’s locally inspired design elements offer different day and night experiences. Both serving fresh, beachside – daytime is a relaxed, casual eatery setting transforming into elevated dining at night.
Providing individual or group seating arrangements, guests are welcomed by aperitif by the bar, before moving to dinner in the main restaurant. Alternatively, the island-style Ikan Bar offers a sophisticated imbibe space. For private diners, the restaurant offers a semi-private group dining space, or a privately booked, air-conditioned dining room (up to 20 guests). For the romantics, couple beachside tables are available.
Ikan’s day and night Indonesian-inspired menus are led by Chef de Cuisine Fajar Kurniawan Putra, who’s weaved his local produce passion into every dish – a menu complimented by Ikan Bar’s Head Mixologist Marlon Hermanto’s talent. Hermanto, well-known Bali bar scene figure, is known for creating innovative craft cocktails – mixing premium artisanal spirits with house-made infusions.
Ikan’s small bites, tapas, mains, and dessert selections are designed to be shared. Menu highlights include Grab Spring Roll, Bulung, slow-cooked Ayam Upih Betutu, and Jimbaran-style Ikan Bakar – made to be paired with Ikan Bar’s signature craft cocktails including the Nusa Cana Rum Gunung Agung, or the limoncello-prosecco The Italian Job. After cocktails, try the bar’s excellent craft beer, premium gin, arak, and artisanal spirit selection.
Ikan operates 12PM to 11PM, and Ikan Bar 11AM to 1AM, daily. For reservations, please contact 62 361 771906 and email Dining.Bali@westin.com, or visit www.westinnusaduabali.com and www.ikanrestaurant.com for more information.
